If you’re after a new install, we’ll set up an appointment at your home at a time that suits you. Visiting your home lets us give you an accurate, tailored quote. If a home visit isn’t convenient, we’re happy to chat through your needs over the phone and email you an estimate instead.
We won’t try to “pressure-sell” you. In fact, we don’t even give you a quote while we’re in your home. Solar is a big investment, and you deserve time to think through your options. We’ll aim to email your accurate quote within 24 hours.
Once you accept the quote, we ask for a 20% deposit and lock in your install date. All our installs are done by our own employees, never subcontractors, which helps us keep our quality high.
We use edge protection on every job to keep our installers safe while they’re working at heights. It’s a clamp-on pole-to-ground system, so it won’t cause any damage to your building. It’s installed by a third-party provider, who only needs access around the outside of your home. Nobody needs access inside, so you don’t even need to be home when it goes up.
One last thing to keep in mind: once your installation is finished, the edge protection company may not be able to remove it straight away, so we appreciate your patience while they arrange to take it down.
On completion, we’ll give you a handover kit, connect your inverter to the internet, and set up your online monitoring. We’ll take care of all the Energex paperwork, though you’ll need to call your retailer yourself.
